Join the Alberta Wildlife Federation today and connect with a vibrant community of anglers and hunters.

The Alberta Wildlife Federation is supported by 60+ clubs, and their members, throughout Alberta, who dedicated to protecting and conserving Alberta’s wildlife and their habitats. 

Membership Benefits include:

  • Access to over 50,000 acres of the Alberta Habitat Fund properties; available to members for hunting, angling and outdoor recreation

  • Conservation conference discount

  • Opportunity to participate in numerous conservation projects

  • Insurance coverage for outdoor activities

  • Annual subscription to Outdoor Canada West magazine

  • Exclusive member discount programs including discounts on home and auto insurance, Mark’s merchandise and many more

Direct Membership

This membership option is for those who wish to support the mission of the Alberta Wildlife Federation, yet do not wish to be involved directly in a club, or have access to club gun and/or archery ranges. 

Direct Memberships are available for:

  • Individuals (18 years and over) – $60.00 per year

  • Family (includes one partner, and dependents under the age of 18 years, living in the same household) – $75.00 per year

  • Youth (under the age of 18 years) – $30.00 per year

Affiliated Club Membership

Join one of our affiliated clubs across the province to be part of a smaller community. Many club members enjoy the information exchanged at meetings, habitat and environmental projects that clubs are involved with, as well as the numerous family programs.

Prices vary depending on what each club offers, and may include gun and/or archery range privileges.

When you sign up, your club will also enroll you with us, ensuring you receive all the member benefits.

  • No, there is a limit of one magazine per household. If you have any questions, please email us at membership@albertawildlifefederation.ca.

  • For any wildlife concerns, such as injured or dead animals, please contact Alberta Fish & Wildlife at 780-427-3574.
